Capacitor application

Capacitors are mainly used in power circuits to achieve anti-interference, blocking, step-down, bypass, decoupling, filtering, energy storage and motor drives 

 

■ Two type of common Matallized Film capacitors in used.

 

1. PP  (Polypropylene) Series -  ( X1、X2、CBB61 Safty Approval series、MMC、MMS、MPH、MPJ、MXJ、MPP、MPC、MTP、PPS、PPN)

2. PE ( Polyester ) Series -  ( MEM、MEB、MEF、MEC、MTE、MET )

■ CBB61 Serice - Metallized polypropylene film AC Motor Capacitor - SMCB ( 250Vac / 300Vac / 350Vac / 400Vac / 450Vac ) 

 


Used in Circuit diagram single-phase motor.  The current through the single-phase current can not produce a rotating magnetic field, and driving the motor. 


 The Motor capacitor is used to do the split phase so that the current in the windings (the starting winding and the running ) of the AC motor produces a phase difference of nearly 90 degrees angle to produce a rotating magnetic field.  Connect a starting capacitor in the startup winding, when running winding and start winding through single-phase alternating current, the capacitor current of the starting winding in time than the current running winding advance angle of 90 degrees to reach in value. 


 Two identical pulsed magnetic fields are formed to generate a rotating magnetic field between the stator and the rotor.  Under the action of the magnetic field, the dot product rotor generates current, and the electric current interacts with the rotating magnetic field so that the motor works. 


 Motor start capacitors are generally marked with safety certification marks and the rated of voltage in AC250V,AC300V,  AC350V, AC400V or AC450V.

■ SMMC  Serice - Double sided Metallized polypropylene film (Box)(1000Vdc/1250Vdc/2000Vdc/2500Vdc/3000Vdc/5000Vdc)

  

Double sided metallized polypropylene film capacitor, is made of double sided metallized polypropylene film and non metallized polypropylene film by winding in series.  


 Metallized film capacitor formed on polypropylene film by thermal shrinkage limit in a certain range, and the rate of steam allocation, stripping the area proportion of the coated electrode, can to improve the dielectric withstand voltage performance, tan δ and charge discharge characteristics.


Due to its high electrical stability, it is suitable for large screen display and color TV line reverse circuit. It is suitable for high pulse and high current circuits and is suitable for electronic ballasts.

Double sided metallized polypropylene film capacitor, is made of double sided metallized polypropylene film and non metallized polypropylene film by winding in series.

Metallized Polypropylene Film A.C.For Capacitive Divider capacitor is Metallized polypropylene film as the dielectric, flame retardant plastic casing and epoxy seal.  It is designed for 100Vac~310Vac power capacitor series, withstand the impact of the surge voltage, long-term load capacitance stability excellent.

■ SMTP  Serice - Metallized Polypropylene Film Capaitor (Dipping)(100Vdc/250Vdc/400Vdc/630Vdc/1000Vdc)

 

The metallized polypropylene film is encapsulated as a dielectric and flame retardant epoxy coating, designed for switching power supplies, electronic ballasts, and inverters.

SPPS also known as CBB81, metal foil type polypropylene film as medium, flame retardant epoxy resin encapsulation produced, because the electrical stability is high, suitable for large screen display and color TV circuit for inverse and high pulse and large current circuit for electronic ballast.
